Summary of Services

Our proposal includes the engineering services to inspect the load bearing walls at the mentioned address. As well as the production of plans for the supporting structure to be installed in the event that the walls are in fact load bearing.

Working Methodology

• Inspection visit to determine the load bearing nature of the walls. • Inspection visit to determine the measurements of the structural elements of the wall to be demolished (4 hrs visit maximum) • Analysis of the existing structure. • Production of signed and sealed structural plans for the supporting structure.

Deliverables

• Structural plans for the structure to replace the load bearing wall.

Fees

• Our proposal fee for the initial visit to determine the load bearing nature of the wall and take measurements where needed is seven hundred and fifty ($750.00) dollars plus applicable taxes. • Our proposal fee for the letter report for a non-load bearing wall is two hundred and fifty ($250.00) dollars plus applicable taxes. • Our proposal fee for the design of the structure as well as drafting of plans for the load bearing wall is seven hundred ($700.00) dollars plus applicable taxes. • Additional visits needed to evaluate the final structure, will be charged at a fixed rate of 135$/hr including travel time. At the time of the inspection, the structure will need to be visible, this must be accommodated by the client.
